Raw kicks off with highlights from last week's confrontation between CM Punk and Mikc Foley as well as the last segment between CM Punk and John Cena
We are live from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and tonight is Jim Ross appreciation night and we kick things off with Paul Heyman and WWE Champion CM Punk coming out to the ring and Punk says last week Cena attacked him with a pipe while his back was turned and calls it cowardice and the actions of a scared man. Seconds later, he’s looking for a doctor and runs into Mick Foley and shoots him a look of disrespect then he muttered something because like Cena he’s afraid to say anything to Punk’s face so he kicked him to the ground and showed him he’s the WWE Champion. Punk asks if Foley would have had the guts to say anything derogatory to Cena, Rock or Steve Austin. The answer is no but this is the lack of respect he showed Punk. Some people affectionately call him “Mrs Foley’s Baby Boy” and Punk said she never taught him manners and the WWE Universe doesn’t have any manners because they are showing him a lack of respect. He said on Mick’s best day he’s an eloquent talker and some of his words got to Punk and he’s here to address the Hell In A Cell question and Punk says Cena-Punk is still not going to happen.
Paul Heyman then takes the mic and roles footage from the beginning of last week’s Raw. Heyman then says the WWE Universe noticed what he and Punk noticed. She never said no. But she did invite an edict from the WWE Board Of Director and he then reads a memo saying AJ Lee’s actions have been childish and juvenile and she is under no circumstance to put her hands on any manager, wrestler or referee. Heyman then requests for AJ’s removal as GM and the WWE Universe boos and Heyman says no he knows that leaves a void but that void can easily be filled by Paul Heyman. Someone who has experience as a GM. Vickie Guerrero then comes out with Dolph Ziggler and airs her grievances over AJ’s actions towards her and putting her hands on Vickie. She then rolls footage of AJ attacking her. Heyman then asks when did this become about Vickie Guerrero? This is about the WWE Champion. Guerrero then says her client is the future and Heyman says well when the future catches up with the here and now, to come talk to him. Ziggler then says they can all agree this is AJ’s fault and proposes a alliance between Paul Heyman and Vickie Guerrero. AJ comes out and says the Board Of Directors have placed her on probation. She knows not to put her hands on anyone and so now she’s been appointed a coach to help her as GM running Raw.
Daniel Bryan comes out and yells for the WWE Universe to stop chanting Yes and he just came out to apologize because it’s obvious AJ’s mental issues have been compounded by the fact that he dumped her after Wrestlemania and he can’t blame her because he is one hell of a catch. He is handsome and a former World Champion. He has a great beard. And now, he’s the tag team champions and starts yelling it repeatedly and out comes Kane. Kane says everyone’s forgotten an important fact about AJ. She’s a phenomenal kisser. Everything Daniel Bryan said it’s true except for one thing and they begin arguing over who is the tag team champions and AJ yells for them to stop. AJ says this is her show and probation or not she is stil the GM of Raw and what she says goes. And what she says is WWE Champion, CM Punk and MITB winner Dolph Ziggler will face the WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Hell No
